Church Affiliations
Harbor Baptist Church is an autonomy body of believers bound by a common faith and tradition, standing upon the testimony and witness of the apostles and prophets, holding Jesus Christ as our chief cornerstone in life and action. Be do affiliate with several para-church organizations as seems prudent and effective in maximizing our efforts to ultimately win souls for Christ and raise believers up in the unity of Jesus who is our Lord.
Church Venture Northwest
We are affiliated with Church Venture Northwest as Conservative Baptists. You can find out our history here. Church Venture Northwest is committed to an expanding gospel movement through strengthening local church leaders and the churches they serve to advance the gospel boldly and strategically in their communities. Our conviction is that we are to engage our world with the grace and truth of Jesus Christ from a posture of humility, knowing that it is that same gospel message that transforms, sustains, and renews all of us who follow Him. Through the power of the gospel, our lived-out faith creates a culture of disciples loving God, and loving our neighbor, including caring for “the least of these.”
Lower Umpqua Ministerial Association (LUMA)
We support and are affiliated with this local ministerial association known as the Lower Umpqua Ministerial Association (or LUMA). This is a collaboration between several local churches and organizations in the area, with the primary goal of pooling resources to accomplish good works for Christ. Camp Fircroft Association
Harbor Baptist Church has a long-standing history with the Fircroft Association with the aim of bringing youth to Christ and providing venues for churches and Christian organizations to host camps, retreats, and seminars. Our youth pack up each summer to attend and have a blast!
